Morris Area Gymnastics Association board was formed when some parents and coaches recognized a need in our community. We realized there was a lack of training time, space, and equipment for our gymnasts to reach their fullest potentials. As we set our sights on getting a gym built in our community, we became excited about the other needs a gym could fill. Our gym could also offer a fun option for local birthday parties. We could offer open gyms for kids to come and play, exercise, and practice. There would be the possibility of having a meeting room that we could offer for use to other community groups. And we envision many other fun and exciting experiences for our area youth like a rock climbing wall and a ninja class! We’d love to offer a weekly time for daycares to bring their kids to play. And we know our winters get long so having an indoor play space will be very valuable for families. Another goal we are pursuing is to build a separate sensory gym for children with disabilities to learn, grow, and have fun in a safe environment. Please contact us if you are interested in helping us achieve any of these goals!
